In the name of God the Merciful Islam is an Abrahamic, divine and monotheistic religion, there is only one God according to Islam which is Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and Islam is the second largest religion in the world, with more than 1.8 billion followers or 24% of the world's population, known as Muslims. Muslims make up the majority of the population in 50 countries. Islam teaches that God is merciful, has the omnipotence, and is one, and has guided mankind through the prophets and messengers, the scriptures and verses. Basic Texts in IslamIt is the Qur'an - which Muslims see as the literal word of God - and the teachings and normative fellows (Sunnah), and the Reformation of the Prophet's hadiths.
